Since 2020, I've been riding my Yamaha 125z, bought for 145K. Covering almost 38,000 km with a daily 60 km commute in Karachi, it outperforms my previous bikes in comfort and fuel efficiency. Impressively, I haven't replaced any parts in nearly three years, except for the chain sprocket set at 35 km. Routine tuning and oil changes at Yamaha have kept it in top shape. However, the battery now needs replacement. A notable concern is the rear tire's slipperiness on Pakistani roads, especially in moisture. I recommend changing the tires for safety. Despite this, the Yamaha 125z maintains a comfortable and fuel-efficient performance, averaging 40 to 45 km per liter in city traffic. In conclusion, the Yamaha 125z proves reliable and cost-effective. With minimal maintenance and solid fuel efficiency, it's a standout choice for Karachi's challenging conditions, requiring only slight adjustments for an even better riding experience.
