The 6th Generation BMW 5-Series was introduced in 2010. The car featured a drastic change in the design language that ditched the previous controversial styling set the trend for the design languages of other models in BMW range. The 6th Generation BMW 5-Series features slightly larger exterior dimensions compared to the previous 5th Generation BMW 5-Series, it also features a great amount of interior space and boot capacity. In Pakistan 6th Generation is offered in only one model 528i but 535i, 525d, 550i and Active Hybrid 5 are also being imported. The price of the BMW 5-Series 6th Generation is fairly competitive when compared to other models in the same class. BMW halted the production of 5 series in 2017 with the arrival of new 7th generation.

The 6th Generation BMW 5-Series featured a brand new design language while still keeping the same familiar shape of the previous 5th Generation 5-Series. The front features sleek, angular side swept headlights with daytime running lights, the iconic BMW kidney grille, a large front bumper with a trapezium styled air intake and standard circular fog lights. Options include adaptive full LED headlights and the M-Sport package. All variants of the BMW 5-Seires feature identical styling in every aspect.
