The 4th Generation Honda City was introduced by Honda Atlas into Pakistan in October of 2003. The 4th Generation Honda City is a front engine front wheel drive subcompact sedan. The car featured a radical new design language for the city that was done in an attempt for its aesthetics to appear unique from its competition. Production of the Honda City 4th Generation lasted for four years and then Honda brought the facelift in 2006. The Honda City 4th Generation is available in 2 variants i-DSI and i-DSI Vario.

The 4th Generation Honda City featured a brand new design language, the general exterior of the City was compromised of sharp angles and curved body panels. The front fascia featured sleek and sharp side swept headlights placed between the small trapezium shaped grille that has a chrome trim piece running along its length, the bumper sits flush with the bodywork and features twin trapezium shaped openings for air intake. The overall front end tapers to a point at the center as well. The rear end features side swept parallelogram styled taillights fixed between the chrome trim piece running across the center of the trunk embossed with a chrome Honda logo in the center and a large curved outward sticking bumper. All variants of the Honda City feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 4th Generation Honda City is unique and imposing with design touches such as its large wheel arches and a sloping roofline.

The interior features the use of light grey colored and beige colored plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in beige colored fabric. Standard features on the car include air conditioning, cup holders, power lock doors, power steering, power windows, a stereo speaker system, rear defogger and a tachometer. Features on the higher end Vario include ABS. The overall look of the interior is unique with the race inspired triple gauge instrument cluster and uniquely shaped switch gear. The interior space in the rear of the 4th Generation City though is not spacious when compared to its rivals and its exterior size, it does offer a decent level of comfort and a good ride quality.
