The 4th facelifted Generation Facelifted Honda City was introduced in 2006. The facelifted 4th Generation City featured a series of cosmetic upgrades to the exterior and the interior compared to the previous pre-facelift 4th Generation Honda City. Production of the Facelifted Honda City 4th Generation lasted for three years and Honda brought the new generation in 2009. The Honda City is available in 2 variants i-DSI and VTEC Steermatic. The price of the Facelifted Honda City 4th Generation was fairly competitive when compared to other models in the same class. 

The exterior of the facelifted 4th Generation Honda City featured sleeker parallelogram styled side swept headlights with a new trapezium shaped grille featuring two chrome trim pieces running its length along with a new front bumper that features a single larger trapezium shaped air intake with new rectangular style fog lights. The rear end features brand new parallelogram styled side swept taillights with circular inserts and a larger curved outward sticking bumper. The overall exterior of the 4th Generation Honda City is unique and imposing with design touches such as its large wheel arches and a sloping roofline. All variants of the Facelifted Honda City 4th Generation feature identical styling in every aspect.

The interior features the use of light grey colored and beige colored plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in beige colored fabric. Standard features on the i-DSI car include air conditioning, cup holders, power lock doors, power steering, power windows, a stereo speaker system, rear defogger and a tachometer. Features on the higher end VTEC Steermatic include front fog lights, leather upholstery, CD input on the stereo speaker system and alloy wheels. The overall look of the interior is unique with the race inspired triple gauge instrument cluster and uniquely shaped switch gear. The interior space in the rear of the 4th Generation City though is not spacious when compared to its rivals and its exterior size. New additions on the facelifted 4th Generation Honda City included an increased number of interior lights and a central armrest.
