The 6th Generation Honda Civic was introduced by Honda Atlas into Pakistan in 1996. The 6th Generation Honda Civic is a front engine front wheel drive subcompact sedan. The 6th Generation Honda Civic featured a slightly different design compared to the 5th Generation, which was done in an attempt to make it more aerodynamic and to fit in with modern design languages. The 6th Generation Honda Civic was available in 2 variants EXi and VTi. Production of the Honda Civic 6th Generation lasted for 4 years. The Honda Civic was available to purchase during the years 1996, 1997, 1998 and the year 1999. The price of the Honda Civic 6th Generation was fairly competitive when compared to other models in the same class.

The exterior of the 6th Generation Honda Civic features angular trapezium styled side swept headlights with a rectangular styled front grille that features a chrome accent on it. The front bumper features a large rectangular air intake that is placed below two thin black rubber trim pieces which are placed on opposite ends of the bumper. The slightly raised rear end of the car features trapezium style side swept taillights with a large rear bumper. All variants feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 6th Generation Honda Civic is that of a typical sedan the styling is very restrained and minimalistic. 

The interior of the 6th Generation Honda Civic compromises of black plastic trim pieces throughout the interior. The front and rear seats are covered in the fabric while the door trim is covered in partial fabric. Features on the higher end VTi model include a sunroof. The overall interior of the 6th Generation Honda Civic is fairly spacious and practical considering its exterior size. It also offers a good level of comfort and interior refinement.
