The rear end features rectangular stacked vertical taillights, an outward sticking bumper and a standard case tailgate with a rear windscreen wiper. The overall exterior of the 1st Generation Toyota Probox features a fairly boxy design language that is familiar for a Japanese MPV.

Interior

The interior of the 1st Generation Toyota Probox compromises of black plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the F include air conditioning, front power windows, power steering, power lock doors, cup holders and a tachometer. Standard features on the F Extra package include front fog lights, the rear windscreen wiper, allow wheels, privacy glass, and rear power windows. Options include rear fog lamps and satellite navigation.
